Excursion Playlist!

My shop is filled with items that I find. And to find them, I must drive. To drive, I must listen to awesome music. Since I am unexpectedly home this weekend , I thought I would share my current playlist of songs that keep me going.

The songs will be linked to youtube. Videos are fun!
1.The Academy Is...'We've Got a Big Mess on Our Hands'. Catchy chorus, and the video is hilarious. I so totally hate when my mirror image escapes and does bad things. So. Annoying.

2.Metro Station 'Shake It'. Tall skinny dude is Miley Cyrus' brother. Can't go wrong watching people do a dance off.

3.Paramore 'That's What You Get' I love the tree on the wall behind the drummer.

***I've gotten totally distracted by New Found Glory doing cover songs. Which are not on my playlist. But are entertaining, nonetheless. And a tad disturbing...***

4.Cobra Starship 'Guilty Pleasure'...'You spent the entire video budget on a Delorean!' 'Nough said...

We just added a Christmas cd yesterday and so I've added two more songs to my oft repeated ones.

5.Guster 'Donde Esta Santa Claus?' Heh.

6.Switchfoot 'Evergreen' One of my all time favorite songs...'Head on the ground, I'm lost and I'm found...'

I leave you with this little gem: How to Talk like a Corgi, in honor of my corgi mix perfecting #2, The Floor Whine, this week.

Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeen

This was one of our best Halloweens since we've had kids! No oozing infections, no pox, no ER visits! Yay! Q did have a slight reaction to something at lunch today, but nothing a little Benadryl couldn't fix.

It was warm and beautiful!

My sister and brother in law came over and trick or treated with us for while. We met up with our neighbor early on and walked with her and her little witch for most of the neighborhood. After we were done, we went for our annual trip to my friend's house where both of her daughters and their wee ones were also hanging out. Very fun.

My eldest was Sonic the Hedgehog (thrift store sweatshirt and track pants, ebay mask...I was going to do blue dye in his hair and spike it!) and my youngest was a Storm Trooper (Target costume I got for 90% off last year). Spencer was completely left out. Couldn't play with kids, couldn't bark, couldn't trick or treat, and can't eat chocolate. He wants your pity!!!!

Stop and Smell the Wildflowers

My husband brought me home a bouquet of wildflowers yesterday. I split them into two different vases and was going to photograph my favorite vase. That obviously went well!!!

Perfect Fall Walk

Spencer Tracy and I finally made it around the whole lake again! I got hit with bronchitis and an ear infection in the spring and it really made it hard to go any length of long walk.

Photos!

The Crescent Moon Tree...

A bridge.

Spencer spots a chihauhau and thinks 'Do I eat it or herd it???'
He was soooooooo filthy after this walk, he went straight in the tub when we got home!

Summer is over!!! Just the birds on the beach now.
Gorgeous sections of purple and yellow flowers. They are doing some shore revitalization projects and this is the first year that it looks 'real'.
