I found this intriguing statue in St Paul last week. It was commissioned in 1890 by New York Insurance for it's St Paul branch. The statue is of a bald eagle, a snake in it's grasp, pulling it away from it's nest full of chicks. It is profound, and it moves me.
This is a photo from the edge of the park. You can see the St Paul area for miles around. It is so beautiful.

Your blog layout has a lot of potential! I think it helped to clean things up, and customize the colors to set a certain "feel" and "atmosphere"... if that makes any sense. :)
