The Strangest Thing

I spend a lot of time in different venues looking for things for my shop (and for other things, like pants. Pants are useful.) And sometimes, you seem some pretty wacky things. There's an entire blog devoted to this kind of thing that I just found: Thrift Store Nightmares.

But last week, I finally found something that I felt the need to photograph and share: a leg. Now...who doesn't need a spare appendage? I know I could use some extra hands. Not sure what to do with a leg though. Sometimes I will see a number of things in the store that I think go together. This time, I saw a canvas duffel and a battered canteen that I thought might have gone with this leg.

I also thought it was awesome that it was in the umbrella/hat/tie/sock section. I guess that sort of makes sense...And I would have checked the price, but I think I scared the lady next to me when I whipped out the camera:P.
