2 Days Until the Republican National Convention

McCain has a running mate.

Obama is 'official'.

Gustav is threatening our states.

So much happens in so few days!

There has been a lot of activity at the St Paul Water Plant, which I think is good. All those extra toilets flushing soon, you know. I saw one worker testing a fire hydrant.

Workmen were cleaning garbage out of the grass by the highways.

Someone painted an American flag in the grass off of I-94E, near the 10/61 exit. Of course, I hit a jam about 2 minutes too late to get a picture of it!

City Pages has some of the more 'real' stories concerning what goes on around here. Not to knock the Star Tribune (Minneapolis) or the Pioneer Press (St Paul) but the Pages may get to it quicker.

The painted flag in the grass sounds like quite a site. If only the traffic jam could have been a little earlier. haha
